The cracking varnish achieves the appearance of old cracked varnish on absorbing and non-absorbing surface. First, apply the basic varnish and after drying apply top gross or fine varnish with a flat brush in one-way strokes only. The cracks produced are highlighted by rubbing in oil paint, and polish the product with a dry rug.
